Re: Odd Namco System10 Game

I had checked the mame source, but it wasn't helpful, its also not the football game, that they recently dumped.....best guess would be an international version = Taiko Drum Master of 'Taiko no Tatsujin' MTD MasterTaikoDrum ??!??

Re: Odd Namco System10 Game

Not sure what game, but its got yet another type of i/o board that I haven't seen, so I would have to assume it would be something with different input aka Uchuu Daisakusen : Chocovader Contactee or whatever with the gameboy advance link features. Keep us informed if you pick it up, or find anymore ...

Re: Namco System 10

Mine is full JVS, 2 CRT, one set of RCA outs, and usb, 'EXIO PCB' no (s) or (g) the pic I have seen of the (g) board had a sticker labeled as such (EXIO (g) pcb) where mine is silk screened on the board, in addition to missing the inputs the (g) board I have seen is also missing some of the cpu/chip...

Re: Namco System 10

Can I just confirm a Namco System 10 board is JAMMA compatible? And that the daughter boards you can get for them just add JVS compatibility and extra I/O? This is correct, normally JAMMA, certain daughter board adds JVS stuff...other versions are just for extra i/o (missing vga, usb, rca)...with t...

Re: Boot or Original : Post original/bootleg PCB photos here.

it's original, SNK was just using left over parts, I think if memory serves me the small daughterboard was akin to a neogeo pocket part or something weird like that, you could search around neo-geo.com and prolly find out more about what the daughterboard is, but it is 100% legit.

Re: xbox360 in Blast City

My Blast works fine with my 360, been using it with Deathsmiles for awhile now, with no problem, just straight vga into the monitor and audio straight to the stereo input (well a female adapter in the middle) Mine has an autosync Nanao in it, so maybe ppl were having issues with the revision that ha...

That would be great for me too, so we can finally figure out if the capcom i/o doesnt play well with the jvs-pac, or maybe I am just crazy or lacking in technical ability to plug it in correctly ;)

Re: Some Model 2/Model 3/general questions

Would guess its actually a blast city harness, the jst connector, labled blast, looks like what I run my kick buttons through on the blast's i/o board, guess the other connectors are interchangeable so they would work on other sega cabs.

Re: Wow, I'm really overwhelmed, i need help with my Blast City

hehe, nice cab, crazy wiring job though... OK, I think most of your questions have been answered, but the audio jack that comes on the 001 loom is not the 1/8" shown in that pic, it should come with a L/R RCA jacks and a connector to hook it through that or audio from the jamma harness. Andy Geezer ...

Hope this isnt the case, but we will see  they were recommended by Ken Westerfield so I am giving them the benefit, and I really want my blast working.

Re: Blast City Repair Question

I just talked to them and they are working on it, apparently it has "multiple issues", I will provide as much detail as possible when I hear back again. I hate when new acquisitions have problems I cant trouble shoot, cause I am getting the fever to buy another cab, though this one hasnt really gott...

Re: NAOMI II DIMM Board No SCSI connector...

Just an educated guess, but I would assume it would be used on a satellite terminal or similar type game where there is a central naomi/naomi's controlling the main game and then other naomi units for the satellite stations. I saw a setup that would probably similar on YHJ awhile back, but it was fo...

Re: Blast City Repair Question

Thanks for the info, I will just send it down and see what they say....it was really hard to find someone to work on this chassis for me, plus information (schematics, flow charts, etc) seems few and far between, the company was recommended by Ken Westerfield, they are All Good Technical Services......

Re: Blast City Repair Question

Fuses on both the chassis Power Supply are good, and no squeal.

So basically with this information is it safe to say the chassis is most likely the problem? I would just hate to send out the chassis and it be something else I should have checked first.
