Re: Need help with a dead Master System...

Update: all the traces look spotless. I cant find cracks or corrosion of any sort. I also replaced the three 100uf caps, two near the RGB out on position c25 & c28 and the one near the power plug. At the moment i am wondering if A) the voltage regulator is incompatible somehow, or B) if the z80 is s...

Need help with a dead Master System...

Ok so... i got a dead Master System the other day. Ebay, untested, you know how the story goes. So i opened it up, replaced the NEC 7805 Voltage Regulator with a brandnew L7805CV. Now the green LED comes on. The system has power. However the screen stays black. I get no audio. Is the new voltage tra...

Capacitor Replacement Thread...

Alright so i have been replacing a lot of caps during the past two years. My go to brands are panasonic, rubycon, nichicon. Especially oldschool nichicons were pretty sick. As in they hold their exact values for decades without any noticeable degrading. Anyway lets hear YOUR capacitor stories, advic...

need help with IGS PGM cart slot / foxconn

So my PGM is glitching like hell. The culprit was quickly found. One of the pins of the cart slot is loose. Does anyone have a spare (single, black) PGM cart slot for sale? Or does anyone know what the correct part number/description is? Its branded FOXCONN on the side of it. Thanks for looking.

Been looking for that pcb for quite a while.

Re: Adult aka hentai games for Jamma

I think i played most of these. And most of them sadly sucked. The dynax/nakanihon stuff is pretty much fun though. Especially if you get tired of playing the usual 90's game genres. Real Break in terms of gameplay physics might be a hair under Data East's Pocket Gal Deluxe. But the art and presenta...

Dynax/NakaNihon hidden test menus

Billiard Academy Real Break: Yesterday i have been playing around with the options menu of my Real Break pcb. And i found something rather interesting. There is a hidden dev menu where you can strip all the girls. Wanna see uncensored tiddies and poontang? Here is what you do, and of course this wor...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Not including a jamma-edge is a design flaw detrimental to their cause. In japan it won't make much of a difference. But in the rest of the world it will make a difference. Especially in Latin American markets.
