Re: Connect PS4 to Vewlix C

I haven’t tried a PS4 but I have had a PS3 connected ok
Set to 720p using a hdmi to vga with sound adapter that’s worked fine
You’ll need a brooks adapter or pad hacks for the controls too

Anyone want a not working PC-FX, a controller, a couple of games and some "backup" disks for the price of shipping?

It was previously working then stored in a plastic storage box. When I tried it, it powers on but does nothing. Might be an easy fix?
Wow nice offer :)

Re: can I use this step down transformer for my Sega Astro City ?

The watts on the stepdown are how much it can handle up to, while staying reliable. if your cab is only 140 watts, then you could potentially power 3 cabs from the one stepdown, it wont over power 1 cab it just has a reserve if more is asked from it. The power here in the UK is 140 where I live, the...

Re: can I use this step down transformer for my Sega Astro City ?

This will depend on which country you are in for the source voltage, the Astro requires around 300Watts, so depending on what you want to run inside the cab, I would recommend a 500VA power supply, if you want a reliable and accurate 100V output that's perfect for Japanese cabs then I would get one ...

Re: New Net City Noob - Connecting via VGA

Unless you have an ultimarc arcade vga card there is a very good chance that the bios and up to windows booting is not 640 x 480
So to be safe boot the pc using a pc monitor drop the res to 640x480 60hz then swap the cable with the NNC for testing

Re: New Net City Noob - Connecting via VGA

It looks like you have an extra PCB in there to help with linking 2 machines together
the one with the Silver and BLue VGA.
most Pc's will output higher than 640 x 480 at boot time and could damage the monitor
you really need to try this with something you know know is 640 x 480

Re: magnetic field of an HP

it's just a speaker that is safe to use near a crt monitor
just search for Magnetically Shielded Speaker on Google

looks like the speaker you have already but the metal part that holds the magnet is thicker

Why not get a magnetically shielded speaker? Then you can put it almost where you like?

Re: RiverService Jamma/ New Net City harness

I have not tried one myself but from the pics it looks to be well made, a few differences I can see are that the RGB lines are not attenuated with resistors, not sure if this matters with the tosh PF monitor or not but the Francob loom does have them. there's no switch for the coin mech, I'm not sur...

Re: Naomi 1 in NNC error...jamma I/O

difficult to see in the pics but have you swapped the power leads back over to the JVS power, in the 2nd pic (middle right) it looks like it still has the Franco B loom attached it could be the I/O isn't getting power/signals, there is also a switch to change how the coin mech is detected that needs...
