Re: Retropie - Raspberry Pi 4

It's shaky as hell on the pi full stop from my experience, got pi2jamma and an RGB-pi, tried both on a pi3, the signal just doesn't play ball with my NAC, a proper JAMMA board or a pc with groovy works without a hitch. pi4 is super shaky as hell as it's just not working right yet (getting there slow...

Personally I would run everything in 31k with software scanlines.
Thanks cools, will the setup be "better" in 15k though, I mean, are 31k + software scanlines going to be discernible from "proper" 15k do you know?

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

I'm trying to get a setup together that runs in 640x480 as default for the menu (Tosh PF Tri-sync) but switches to 15k as required, or runs at 15k for the menu and switches to 640x480/31k as required! Basically I'd like normal 15k stuff to run, and be able to get demul and other 31k stuff selectable...

Tube size is wrong. There's no arcade cab that uses a 21" / 51cm tube.
Thanks nem, that's the answer I was after :D 8-)

Do you mean to put it in a cab? It depends on the cab and the connector on the tube.
Yeah, I've no idea if it's likely to be of use to someone here, I don't have space to take it in and dismantle it or I would.

TV - Hitachi C2156TN, tube in this any good?

Tube measures at 22" diagonal to diagonal, can't see any visible burn, I'm just unsure if it's worth getting as I have no space for junk.

Re: Windows 7 Read Only GroovyMame Image

Macrium populated my NVME nicely, but BSOD on bootup, probably too many architecture changes from the original, I've had this before when restoring from a vastly different system type. Edit - Just using the Macrium tools on the boot disk to see if it can fix the boot issues Edit - This seems to have...

Re: AWSD with Samsung tube and Wei-Ya chassis

Just an update as I did this a few months ago, replacing the capacitors sure did make a difference and fixed a few niggles, despite this I'm tempted to pair it up with a better chassis as it's not right in one of the corners and from what I've read this is a common trait.

Re: Toei HV25LMK horizontal width coil stuck?

Mine is out of action this week as I'm shifting cabs around but there are 2 width coils iirc, one does fine, one big adjustments.
