What kind of games to you like?
I like all genres of game, so there is a bit of a mix here, but Id recommend:
Shadow of the Tomb raider
Gears 5
Control
Guacamelee 2 (not graphically demanding but a great metroid/castevania style game)
The Witcher 3

Re: New Super Mario Land
Saw a few guys on Youtube reviewing it a week or so ago I so downloaded it. For those that haven't seen it - Its basically the level design from Super Mario Land on the gameboy with the newer graphic / sprite design of New super mario bros from the Wii

I can get over the silly shape of the controller, but I hate that they have made the buttons match the logo making them disappear

Re: Jamma sound amp vs power supply amp
It shouldn't cause any problems running the pcb at full and then turning down the pot, but i personally tend to put my pcb at around 3/4 mark (as this is still WAY too loud in a home environment) and then turn down from there. Another good reason to do this is you dont know what the quality of the a...

Re: Jamma sound amp vs power supply amp
The pot on an astro city power supply is for turning down the volume from the jamma output. There is no amplification involved. it is just to make it quicker/easier than trying to find the pot on the pcb Edit to add: having the pot at max will only be outputting the volume level that the pcb is set ...

Re: I think I broke my speaker :(
Naomi 2 outputs are phono connectors that are line (low) level. Hooking them straight up to a set of speakers would surely just have resulted in a quiet output?

Re: How not to package a pcb for shipping :(
I bought a game from a guy in Italy. It was a kaneko super Nova PCB and cart. It was wedged tightly in a pizza box barely just bigger than the PCB with cart attached. That box was then stuck in a much bigger box with a little piece of bubble wrap stuffed in there. When it got to me the outer box had...

Anything must be better than the current state of mobile gaming. I rarely play any mobile games these days due to the amount of adverts, and pushing you to buy in game credits

Just use a small slim flathead screwdriver to carefully lift the original chip out, and then push the new one back into the socket making sure it is the correct orientation

Me and my wife like playing Track & Field. We end up in stitches laughing at the faces each other pulls while mashing away at the buttons

looks like you have ripped the middle out of the chip the heatsink was attached to
If that's the case its not an easy job to replace. For the cost of a naomi 1 board it may be as well to just buy another unit
