Re: TAITO Canary repro panels for sale

All 3 control panels are gone now. It's kinda pointless to sell the volume panels unless there are more MT-8 owners out there, but who knows for sure?

TAITO Canary repro panels for sale

I've been restauring our attic and I'm currently opening some boxes with arcade stuff. Found these repro panels for the MT-8 project, maybe the Canary or MT-5 owners (also MM-2 and MM-5) are interested in these. Tracked shipping (DHL) within the EC is 18 Euros. 3 Big (control panels) (44,5 x 10 cm):...

Re: Neo 25 Toei to Nanao ms9

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Toei has a yoke from a 25" tube and the MS-9 has a yoke from a 29" tube, right?
And this should answer your question btw. :awe:

Re: horizontal width coil, and other odd issues

Could be V. Size too, most definitely a cold solder joint in the v. circuit anyways.

Re: horizontal width coil, and other odd issues

Maybe just a cold solder joint on the vertical line pot (labeled V.LIN.).

BTW: Thse chassis have a manual degauss option afair.

Re: Tecmo Kyotaro

Hm, the second one looks pretty decent to me, I've seen far, far worse (MT-8). Original screen too with nice geometry. The whole thing is way sexier than any Sega candy (apart from the Aero).
I'd be tempted.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

To be honest I'm through with these cabs. I'll keep one machine for myself but that's it. Moshpit and me figured out how to replace the huge bent lights on the sides and reproduced the 2 panels for all machines, maybe the other guys with MT-8s can figure out how to reproduce the bezels (of course I'...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

 No valuation on an MT-8? I have no recent pics of the second cab but it looks exactly like this: 4.jpg I was thinking 3500 Euros since it is a pretty rare cabinet, only 9 known copies on this planet (a guy on youtube claims to have a tenth but no proving pics) and my 2 cabs had the best condit...

if so, you should drop me a line.
The other one (which turned out even better imo).
