Adapter is needed for 2-, 4- and 6-slot mainboards. The 1-Slot mainboards are jamma, they do not need an Adapter.

Re: Emulation vs Original

I once had a silkworm bootleg. The sound was horrible compared to the original. The picture was ok. Maybe there are good bootlegs but the one I had was crap.

It would be awesome if every level has speed run rankings. Then the game plus console would be an instant buy for me.

R-Type Leo is a big board if I remember correctly. I would try 5.2V.

Re: Truxton PCB - sprite problem

Try to press a little bit on the chips while PCB is running. Then you can see if there is a loose connection.

Re: Darksoft's CPS2 Multikit Tech Support Thread (No F'ing Drama)

I've noticed a few companies make wireless micro sd cards, they seem built for digital cameras... Transfer your pictures after taking them without removing the card or plugging in the cam, etc. Would something like this be useful for the multicart? It would be really something if we could say FTP n...

Re: Metal Slug 3 on PS4 is the best version ever made(★ ★ ★

Good read, thank you! It really surprises me that a slug 3 fanatic like you, with a SNK 19" and the original game at hand, is recommending playing it on a next gen console. Even with all your arguments I am still sceptical, because from my experience old video game technology and new TV technology d...

Re: Dagyuun Strange video problem

I had the same problem with just one PCB in my Astro City with Nanao MS9 chassis. I could fix it by playing with the geometry settings on the chassis. Look into the manual and play around with all the different geometry potis. I don't remember which poti it was that fixed the problem.
